MUSEUM

A little bit about the history of mountain life

On the second floor of our building, just above the restaurant is our museum.

Several rooms reproduce the life inside the chalets of the high Alpine pastures and the elements you could find there at that time:

  • Room containing all the tools required for woodworking (planes, etc.)
  • Room dedicated to machinery (washing, sewing, printing) of the era
  • Room dedicated to mountain sport (evocation of the bobsleigh Olympic championships)

During the conversion, the original wood under the walls was revealed and it has been restored. This emphasises the realism of the objects displayed.

Entry to the Museum is free for customers (there is a nominal charge for external group visits).
